Job summary

Brink’s Global Services, a division of Brink’s Inc, is seeking a Customs Foreign Trade Zone Entry Specialist to work at JFK Airport in Springfield Gardens, NY. You will coordinate with internal import/export teams and US Customs to process documentation for shipments and ensure accurate customs clearance.

The role involves preparing entries, handling FTZ processes, reviewing regulatory details, and maintaining client relationships, with a pay range of $23–$33 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in freight forwarding FTZ/customs clearance or similar
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and industry software
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Prepare customs entries and follow the clearance process
• Scan, file, copy, and assemble documents
• Handle FTZ admission, Concurrence, Inventory and Temporary removals
• Communicate discrepancies to client and supervisor
• Review rates and country of origin, terms of sale and value for regulatory compliance
• Prepare bills of lading, dock receipts, licenses, and consulate documents
