Job summary

Clasquin in the United States is seeking a Tender Analyst to support the Pricing Department by managing RFQs, tenders, and bids for ocean, air, and inland freight services. You will build competitive, compliant pricing solutions across international transportation.

You will collaborate with operations, sales, and finance to gather cost inputs, ensure deadlines, and maintain detailed rate models and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field is required or equivalent industry experience.
• 2–5 years of pricing, tender management, or commercial experience in international freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding services (ocean, air, intermodal, trucking).
• Working knowledge of Incoterms, freight cost components, and accessorial charges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with pricing tools, TMS, or ERP systems is a plus.
• Experience responding to large multinational RFQs and contracts tenders.
• Knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and FMC-licensed forwarder operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end tender and RFQ responses for import, export, and domestic freight services.
• Analyze customer bid requirements, lane volumes, service levels, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, trade compliance, and finance to gather cost inputs.
• Ensure tender submissions meet deadlines, formatting standards, and compliance.
• Build detailed rate models including ocean, air, trucking, and surcharges.
• Validate margins and profitability per pricing strategy.
• Identify cost risks, exclusions, and escalation clauses in bids.
• Liaise with carriers and agents to secure rates.
• Maintain up-to-date carrier pricing, contracts, and service matrices.
• Support negotiations with vendors to optimize pricing and service commitments.
