Job summary

Averro is seeking a Transportation Planner to plan, coordinate, and execute daily North American and international freight shipments across truckload, LTL, parcel, air, and ocean. You will use SAP and a TMS to book loads, track shipments, and reconcile data, while communicating delays to internal teams and coordinating with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 1–3 years in transportation/logistics with hands-on SAP and TMS experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in transportation planning, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations (North America and/or international).
• Hands-on SAP and TMS experience; familiarity with TL, LTL, and parcel carriers.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute daily North America and international freight shipments across truckload, LTL, parcel, air, and ocean.
• Use a Transportation Management System (TMS) to book loads, assign carriers, track shipments, and resolve exceptions.
• Use SAP to process purchase orders, create delivery documents, and reconcile freight data.
• Communicate delays proactively to manufacturing, distribution, and customer service teams.
• Partner with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PLs to ensure on-time, compliant delivery and accurate records.
