Job summary

Manila Recruitment seeks a Logistics Manager to oversee international freight operations with a strong emphasis on ocean freight. You will collaborate with the NOC, Planning, Sourcing, and Operations teams to align shipments with demand forecasts and warehouse capacity.

The role requires 4+ years in international freight, hands-on coordination of shipments, and proven ability to analyze data and drive efficiency. Experience with 3PLs, carriers, and customs is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on international freight operations experience.
• Experience coordinating international shipments and day-to-day freight activities.
• Ability to analyze operational data and identify inefficiencies.
• Experience managing logistics projects or process improvements.
• Strong hands-on experience in international ocean freight operations.
• Familiarity with FCL/LCL, TEU/FEU, and container allocation.
• Experience with US imports and transpacific shipping lanes.
• Knowledge of drayage and port-to-warehouse coordination.
• Exposure to air freight and other transportation modes.
• High proficiency in data analytics and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee international freight movement end-to-end, with a heavy focus on ocean freight (FCL, LCL).
• Collaborate with NOC, Planning, Sourcing, and Operations to align volumes with forecasts and warehouse capacities.
• Own and manage relationships with 3PLs, freight forwarders, ocean carriers, and customs brokers.
• Leverage transit data and KPIs to identify defects, bottlenecks, or cost overruns across international lanes.
• Conduct regular operational reviews for leadership, providing visibility into transit performance and freight spend.
