Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Transportation Claims Specialist to own domestic and international freight claims across a global network. You will investigate damages, shortages, and delivery discrepancies, guiding resolution with carriers, suppliers, and customers while aligning with regulatory requirements.

You will analyze Incoterms, negotiate settlements, and drive process improvements, leveraging MyEZClaim, SAP Quality Notes, and CargoWise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Investigate freight claims for damage, shortage, loss, or delay across multiple lanes.
• Analyze contracts (Incoterms, vendor agreements) to assess liability.
• Negotiate claim values and lead collection within authorized limits; escalate high-impact cases.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, insurers, engineers, and legal teams for resolutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation using MyEZClaim, SAP Quality Notes, and internal tools.
• Develop and implement a global freight claims process and project plan.
• Drive continuous improvement with fulfillment sites and transport partners to reduce future claims.
• Monitor claim trends, recovery rates, and financial impact through reports.
