Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis - Cost Accounting to partner with operations on financial analytics, forecasting, budgeting and ad hoc requests. This role supports cross-functional teams and will oversee cost accounting for US, LATAM and other sites, ensuring timely month-end close and audit responses.

The position requires strong cost accounting background, US GAAP knowledge, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities; SAP and AS400 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Experience in Manufacturing enterprises, preferred
• Strong cost accounting background
• Strong accounting skills, USGAAP knowledge
• English - Spanish bilingual +80%, preferred
• SAP and AS400 systems knowledge, preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads financial reporting for the US, Singapore and Mexico, including reviewing management reports and corporate reporting requirements.
• Models deal profitability for potential partnerships and contracts.
• Budgets and forecasts financial measures such as material variances and site expenses.
• Provides operational forecast support for labor and warehouse efficiency.
• Recommends strategies regarding the financial aspect.
• Leads LATAM cost accounting activities and performs cost roll procedures.
• Inventory control and reconciliations across multiple sites under Maquila model.
• Month end close supervision and reporting completion.
• Responds to internal and external audit requests.
• Manages physical inventory controls compliance
