Cardinal Health, Inc. seeks a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis - Cost Accounting to partner with operations, lead financial analytics, forecasting and budgeting, and support ad-hoc requests.

This role drives cost insights and supports strategic decisions across US, LATAM and Asia-Pacific operations. The ideal candidate has extensive cost accounting and US GAAP experience in manufacturing, bilingual English/Spanish, and proficiency in SAP/AS400 systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cost accounting roles.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong cost accounting and US GAAP knowledge.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (+80%).
• SAP and AS400 systems knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting for US, Singapore and Mexico.
• Model deal profitability for partnerships and contracts.
• Budgets and Forecasts financial measures such as materials price variances and site expenses.
• Conducts operational forecast support for labor and warehouse efficiency.
• Recommends strategies and input to strategies regarding the financial aspect.
• Leads the LATAM cost accounting activities, monitors inventory system functionality and perform cost roll procedures at each fiscal year.
• Inventory control and complex inventory account reconciliations with multiple sites under the Maquila model.
• Month end close activities supervision and reporting completion.
• Responsible for internal and external audits responses
• Manage the physical inventory controls compliance

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization’s assets. Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Job Summary

The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis - Cost Accounting is the financial business partner for the operations team. This job is responsible for financial analytics, forecasting, budgeting, and associated ad-hoc requests. The job also provides ad hoc support for the business as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Leads financial reporting for the US, Singapore and Mexico, including reviewing the preparation and presentation of management reports and / or corporate reporting requirements, to ensure integrity of information and keep management updated on key information.
• Models deal profitability for potential partnerships and contracts.
• Budgets and Forecasts financial measures such as materials price variances, material usage variances and operational site expenses.
• Conducts operational forecast support as needed for labor, warehouse efficiency, and etc.
• Recommends strategies and input to strategies regarding the financial aspect.
• Leads the LATAM cost accounting activities, monitors Inventory system functionality and perform the cost roll procedures at each fiscal year.
• Inventory control and complex inventory account reconciliations with multiple Mexico, US and Singapore sites under the Maquila model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Experience in Manufacturing enterprises, preferred
• Strong cost accounting background
• Strong accounting skills, USGAAP knowledge
• English - Spanish Bilingual +80%, preferred
• SAP and AS400 systems knowledge, preferred

Anticipated salary range:$92,800 - $145,860
