Job summary

tms is seeking a Director of FP&A to own global agency consolidation, lead business partnering for overhead expenses and staffing across North America and Europe, and set the planning and analysis agenda for sustainable growth. The role reports to the VP, Finance and leads a small team in Chicago and London on a hybrid basis.

You will partner with senior leaders, shape decisions, and drive FP&A best practices across regions while building credibility with non-finance audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A focus.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
• Proficiency in US GAAP accounting.
• Experience owning planning, reporting, and consolidation across multiple regions.
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong Excel skills and systems literacy.
• Ability to communicate clearly to non-finance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own development of financial plans for North America Agency and Europe regions with partners and Finance team.
• Lead Agency financial consolidation across regions and ensure complete, accurate results.
• Develop and communicate the Finance calendar and key reporting dates.
• Prepare and analyse actual regional results; explain variances to budget/forecast.
• Monitor overhead expenses, staffing levels, and CAPEX investments; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Own senior-management materials for reviews and departmental reporting; present to leaders.
• Partner with global leaders to ensure profitable growth and business understanding of FP&A processes.
• Coach and develop a team across Chicago and London; manage capacity and deadlines.
