Job summary

AMD in Austin seeks a Foundry Sourcing and Operations Manager to lead strategic supplier management, global procurement strategies for foundry, post-fab, and advanced packaging, and end-to-end procurement operations.

You will manage a team of buyers, drive cost competitiveness, and collaborate with engineering, finance, and leadership to ensure supply continuity and operational excellence in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience in foundry or semiconductor environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive procurement programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global procurement and commodity strategies for foundry, post-fab, and advanced packaging suppliers.
• Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, capacity, contracts, and long-term supply agreements.
• Own RFQ processes, supplier analysis, cost modeling, and bid recommendations.
• Manage a team of buyers and ensure end-to-end procurement execution.
• Drive supplier development and performance management with quarterly reviews.
• Lead procurement SOPs, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
