Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Food Safety Manager to lead risk-based supplier and site qualifications, CAPA management, and cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.

The role focuses on WWGS Private Brands, including Amazon Grocery and Whole Foods Market 365, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across regional sites.

Formación

• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of managing food safety and quality in a large-scale retail or manufacturing environment experience
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field
• Knowledge of retail food code and regulations governing grocery retail at local, state, and federal levels
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience handling confidential information
• Experience interacting with local food safety regulators

Responsabilidades

• Facility Approval & Due Diligence
• New Facility Qualification: End-to-end qualification of new food production sites for WWGS Private Brands
• Ongoing Due Diligence: Maintain and update due diligence documentation including audits and certifications
• Risk Assessment: Periodic risk assessments and mitigation strategies
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Development and Quality
• Facility Reviews & Inspections: On-site reviews to verify GMPs and internal policies
• Audit Leadership: Lead internal and third party audits and CAPA actions
• Supplier Scorecarding: Track audit results and CAPA closure rates
• Systems & Tool Proficiency: Manage data in Foodlogiq, CMX1 and PLM tools
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Generate dashboards and trend reports
• CAPA Tracking: Maintain centralized CAPA log and timely closure
• Policy, Procedure & Compliance: Develop and enforce SOPs
• Regulatory Compliance: Align activities with FDA, FSMA, USDA regulations
• Reporting & Communication: Regular updates to senior leadership with dashboards
