Job summary

Prime6 Brands, the operating holdco behind Primal Harvest, seeks a Global Financial Controller to lead the accounting function across its US and German entities. You will own the monthly close, coordinate external auditors and tax advisors, and build scalable processes in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

The role requires deep US GAAP expertise, strong leadership, and experience with cross-border reporting. English is the working language across all entities and time zones.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with people leadership.
• Deep US GAAP expertise; ability to apply to complex transactions.
• Direct experience managing external audits and primary audit contact.
• Experience running or overseeing the monthly close.
• Experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting function across Primal Harvest LLC, Prime Consumer Brands LLC, and Prime6 Brands GmbH.
• Own the monthly close end to end, including calendar, reconciliations, and timely financial statements.
• Build, mentor, and develop the accounting team with clear standards.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures across entities.
• Own chart of accounts, GL structure, and consolidation logic with the finance systems team.
• Coordinate with external auditors (BDO) and tax preparers (PwC) on annual cycle and filings.
• Manage relationships with German audit/tax advisors for statutory reporting.
