Job summary

Pivot is building the AI operating system for procurement. As Financial Controller, you will manage 3 external accounting firms across France, US, and UK, consolidating accounts, automating processes, and ensuring financial visibility and control. This is a builder role in a fast-growing startup.

You will lead monthly closes, reporting to the Head of Finance, and drive internal controls, SaaS finance reporting, and compliance across IFRS/GAAP as we scale globally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in audit/accounting, including time in a Big 4 or structured audit environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS/GAAP familiarity.
• Comfort with multi-entity consolidation across jurisdictions.
• Tech-savvy with a drive to automate processes.
• Excellent communication with non-finance stakeholders in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process end-to-end for a multi‑entity structure (France, US, UK).
• Coordinate and manage three external accounting firms across our office geographies.
• Build a real-time reporting layer and SaaS board reporting.
• Design and enforce internal controls across procure‑to‑pay, revenue recognition, and payroll.
• Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and fundraising-related reporting.
