Job summary

ABB seeks a Financial Project Analyst to support the US Trading Business for Electrification Distribution Solutions. You will manage project financials, prepare invoices, and provide reporting to drive performance.

Onsite role in the US with global collaboration; responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls. Strong SAP/PowerBI skills and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong planning, forecasting and project-controlling skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fiduciary compliance with US GAAP, statutory reporting, tax and internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and KPI monitoring.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, and statutory obligations; liaise with auditors.
• Maintain governance frameworks aligned with regulations and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, and bank relationships; signatory for filings.
• Partner with leadership to optimize financial performance and contract impacts.
• Participate in risk reviews and maintain authorization controls.
