Job summary

EPRI is seeking an Assistant Controller to provide strategic accounting leadership for its global operations including EPRI International, EPRI Europe, and Gulf regions. The role focuses on US GAAP, IFRS compliance, and statutory reporting while enabling scalable global accounting capabilities.

Reporting to the Controller, you will partner with Finance leaders, manage cross-border accounting, and drive process improvements, governance, and risk mitigation across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Master’s degree, MBA, and/or CPA designation preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis required.
• At least 6 years of experience managing staff; international/global experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations, close activities, and financial reporting for international entities.
• Ensure US GAAP alignment, IFRS, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance for non-US ops.
• Direct intercompany accounting and cross-border transactions; manage currency considerations.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls; coordinate with auditors and Tax advisors.
• Provide leadership and staff development; set goals and conduct evaluations.
