Job summary

EPRI is seeking an Assistant Controller to provide strategic accounting leadership for its global operations, including international entities. This role ensures financial results are recorded, reconciled, and reported in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local requirements.

The position partners with Finance leadership to shape budgeting, forecasting, and global accounting capabilities, while strengthening governance and control frameworks across non-US activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Master’s degree, MBA, and/or CPA designation preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis.
• At least 6 years of experience managing staff in a global or multi-entity environment preferred.
• Experience supporting non-US operations, intercompany activity, and cross-border transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic accounting for non-US operations and report under US GAAP/IFRS.
• Oversee international close, reporting, and compliance.
• Manage intercompany, currency, and cross-border accounting.
• Develop internal controls and coordinate audits with internal/external teams.
• Lead treasury, cash forecasting, and process improvements.
