Job summary

Pave Bank, a fully licensed commercial bank regulated by the National Bank of Georgia, seeks a Financial Controller/Senior Accounting Manager. Based in Malaysia (SEA) with travel to Georgia, you will own and scale the bank’s accounting infrastructure and core ledger to support rapid growth.

You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, manage invoicing and payments, coordinate audits, and implement robust controls and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations.
• Big 4 background preferred; startup/fintech exposure a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with multi-entity or international group structures.
• Experience supporting external audits and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across Group entities.
• Manage invoicing, collections, accounts payable, and payments.
• Coordinate group and entity-level audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and policies.
• Support statutory accounts and regulatory reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting and reporting processes.
