Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Sr. Director of Accounting - Controller to ensure global accounting integrity, lead the general ledger, close, and consolidation processes. The role drives strong internal controls, SOX/COSO compliance, and cross-functional accounting support for strategic initiatives.

Based at the Milpitas HQ with periodic global travel, the candidate will build and scale processes, lead a high-performing team, and partner with business leaders to meet financial objectives.

Qualifications

• CPA or Chartered Accountant required.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience including public and corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls (SOX/COSO).
• Experience leading consolidation, close processes, and global accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead global close, consolidation, and monthly/ quarterly/ annual close processes.
• Ensure integrity and transparency of recorded financial events.
• Maintain strong internal control framework and compliance with US GAAP; support audits.
• Scale accounting processes and drive automation and standardization.
• Develop high-performing teams and partner with leaders across the business.
