Job summary

Interlink Talent Solutions is recruiting for a mid-to-senior Finance Associate to join our client’s Global Finance Practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of substantive finance experience and a track record advising on sophisticated transactions within a large law firm.

You will represent clients on syndicated and club deals, work with banks and sponsors on acquisition financings, draft and negotiate credit agreements, and collaborate across offices to manage

Qualifications

• Three+ years of substantive finance experience at a large law firm.
• Experience in syndicated and club transactions, with exposure to private credit sponsor acquisitions.
• Structured finance, CLOs, and fund finance experience is a plus.
• Proven track record on cash flow lending and complex finance transactions.
• Illinois Bar admission is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent and advise clients in syndicated and club finance transactions.
• Collaborate with banks, private credit funds, sponsors on acquisition financings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements and related security documents.
• Coordinate with colleagues across offices to manage cross-border, multi-jurisdictional deals.
• Support clients with structured finance, CLO, and fund finance opportunities.
• Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
