SURGE Staffing is actively seeking a Field Service Technician to support healthcare, pharmaceutical, research, and laboratory environments in Ormond Beach, FL. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver''s license and willingness to travel up to 75%, including international.
Mechanical/electrical/HVAC/plumbing knowledge and strong troubleshooting.
Professional communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Germfree equipment and facilities.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, airflow, and control-system issues.
Coordinate complex repairs with engineering, vendors, or licensed specialists.
Respond to customer service requests and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct equipment testing and communicate service findings and recommendations to customers.
Complete service reports, certification documentation, and expense reports.
Use service software, remote support tools, and Microsoft Office.
Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and compliance requirements.
