Job summary

gpac is seeking a Field Service Technician/Advisor to travel regionally and internationally, servicing advanced capital equipment on client sites worldwide. You will commission new machinery, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and train client staff on operation and maintenance.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical ability, strong blueprint reading, and the flexibility to travel 3–5 days domestically with occasional longer international assignments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience preferred in industrial settings.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to travel domestically 3–5 days and internationally up to 4–6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and commission brand-new industrial machinery at client sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on-site and perform corrective actions.
• Train client personnel on equipment operation across roles.
• Document field service reports for client invoicing and expense reporting.
