As a Field Service Technician for MTI, based out of South Bend, IN, your primary mission will be to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and the World using your installation and trouble shooting skills with MTI's state of the art joining and welding equipment. Your superior skills with the diagnosis and repair of electronics systems are absolutely central to the job, but your ability to build relationships with a wide range of customers in the field runs a close second. Additional experience with mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics or robotic systems will really make you a top candidate. Working knowledge of ladder logic, Allen Bradly or Siemens PLCs would be a great asset to your credentials. You will also be able to travel up to 75% of the time with half of that being international (all the while receiving a sizable travel bonus). Bring the above technical skills (even if you haven't been in the field before),your love of travel, your ability to read blueprints and schematics and a willingness to learn and grow and be positioned for success within a company that will provide extensive training andcares about what you have to contribute.

This is not a remote position. This position will require your onsite presence whennot in the field assisting customers.
