Manufacturing Technology, Inc. (MTI) is seeking a Field Service Technician based in South Bend, IN, to travel extensively worldwide installing, maintaining, and servicing state-of-the-art welding equipment for high-profile clients. You will diagnose electronics, read schematics, and support customers on-site.

Expect up to 75% travel (including international) with a travel bonus, extensive training, and a family-like workplace culture in a long-standing, ISO/AS standards company.

Qualifications

• Strong electronics diagnosis and repair abilities.
• Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or robotic systems experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel globally up to 75% with some international trips.

As a Field Service Technician for MTI, based out of South Bend, IN, your primary mission will be to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and the World using your installation and trouble shooting skills with MTI's state of the art joining and welding equipment. Your superior skills with the diagnosis and repair of electronics systems are absolutely central to the job, but your ability to build relationships with a wide range of customers in the field runs a close second. Additional experience with mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics or robotic systems will really make you a top candidate. Working knowledge of ladder logic, Allen Bradly or Siemens PLCs would be a great asset to your credentials. You will also be able to travel up to 75% of the time with half of that being international (all the while receiving a sizable travel bonus).
