Job summary

BURGER UNION LTD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support for clients. You will travel internationally to install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment at various client sites.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), has hands-on assembly and hydraulics experience, and is capable of working independently or as part of a team. A valid passport and driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering in a related field or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly skills.
• Experience with hydraulic systems is preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver's license and passport are required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to identify issues with equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration for optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and provide timely solutions
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements
• Train clients on proper use and maintenance of equipment
• Maintain accurate records of service visits and provide reports
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to deliver quality service
