Job summary

Prosum is seeking a Field Service Engineer with hands‑on semiconductor equipment experience to join our engineering team in Boise, ID. This role targets early‑career engineers (2–5 years) eager to work closely with global teams, performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex systems with direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities include on‑site service, preventative maintenance, and collaboration on product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed (Chemistry accepted with hands-on FSE experience).
• 2–5 years of professional engineering experience in semiconductor equipment.
• Hands-on diagnostic tools familiarity.
• Cleanroom environment experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor inspection and metrology systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades in cleanrooms.
• Interface with customers to assess issues and deliver technical solutions.
• Support system integration, calibration, and testing processes.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to resolve issues and improve products.
• Provide service reports and feedback to management.
