Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer for a three-year international assignment in Japan, with eventual relocation to the Boise, Idaho area. You will install and service ZEISS semiconductor systems, perform preventive maintenance, and work closely with customers and global teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Optics or Mechatronics preferred, can be substituted with 5 years industry experience.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Japanese, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service ZEISS 3D Tomography Inspection & Metrology and related systems.
• Coordinate service activities with global ZEISS teams and customers; travel internationally for training.
• Document service activities and reports; provide on-site customer support in Japan and transition to Boise, ID area.
