Job summary

Siemens Energy in Orlando seeks a Field Service Engineer to be the technical expert on combustion and steam turbine generators. You will travel to customer sites for commissioning, troubleshooting, emissions tuning, and specialized maintenance, leading teams and delivering clear technical reports.

You’ll apply metrology, alignment, and vibration analysis with CMM and scanning tools, while prioritizing safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on every project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology, or equivalent field experience.
• Strong technical expertise in combustion and steam turbine generators and emissions tuning.
• Proficient in modal and vibration analysis and precision alignment using CMM.
• Willing to travel 85% domestically and internationally.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical services for combustion and steam turbine-generators, including commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Perform combustion dynamics and emissions tuning to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support new unit installations with valve stroking and timing verification.
• Carry out precision metrology and alignment using CMM and scanning equipment.
• Lead teams of mechanics and contractors with a strong focus on safety.
