Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, upgrade, and service advanced machinery at customer sites worldwide. This role demands substantial travel and hands-on problem solving in automated processing environments.

You will work from regional offices or remotely when not traveling, collaborating with a skilled service team to keep customer operations running at peak performance. Strong electrical and mechanical background required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, or similar technical service role.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% internationally.
• Excellent organization and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, upgrade, and retrofit machinery and control panels.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Assemble, configure, and modify machines and production systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, PLC, HMI, servo, VFD, and control issues.
• Provide preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Relocate, upgrade, and retrofit equipment at customer sites.
