Job summary

KLA in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead on-time installation and qualification of complex capital equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will diagnose issues, perform setup, align, calibrate, and verify systems, coordinating with engineering and regional teams to ensure smooth handoffs.

Extensive travel is required as you represent KLA and ensure customer satisfaction from installation through warranty sign-off.

Qualifications

Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with related experience as minimum.
Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, and electro-optical systems.
Experience with high-vacuum systems preferred.
Comfort with Windows/Unix environments and networking.
Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring on-time completion.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues with root-cause analysis.
Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex capital equipment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with regions, engineering and customers to verify performance.
Provide status updates and complete installation documentation accurately.
Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools.
Travel extensively to support customer installations worldwide.
