Job summary

KLA in USA Phoenix, AZ seeks a Product Installation Engineer to install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites worldwide. You will diagnose issues, perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex semiconductor equipment, and collaborate with engineering and field teams to ensure successful deployments.

You will travel extensively domestically and internationally, working under documented procedures with increasing autonomy as experience grows.

Qualifications

Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with related work experience (0–2 years).
Experience with high‑vacuum systems preferred.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work across cultures and geographies.

Responsibilities

Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership.
Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process.
Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time.
Secure warranty sign‑off on newly installed tools.
