Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Senior Supervisor for Global Field Engineering to lead 24/7 broadcast and IT support across live sports and news productions.

Based in Atlanta with a minimum of three days in-office per week, you will supervise a team of field engineers, manage incident response, scheduling, and performance, and ensure seamless handoffs between shifts and projects. The role requires occasional international travel, hands-on field work when needed, and a passion for adopting

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in live and news/sport field technology deployments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team.
• Proven track record supervising high-performing teams with end-to-end ownership of assignments.
• Demonstrated follow-through and ability to remove blockers and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Prior hands-on experience as a field engineer or in a live production engineering role is required.
• Knowledge of signal flow and contribution workflows in live broadcast environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 10+ field engineers providing 24/7 broadcast and IT services for live sports and news globally.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
• Ensure compliance with processes and identify service improvement opportunities.
• Minimum three days in-office per week to engage operations and strengthen partnerships.
• Coordinate with Planning to develop field deployment assignments and improve resource efficiency.
• Drive adoption of field technology and ensure smooth implementation of new workflows.
