Job summary

BlackSea Technologies is seeking a Junior Marine Technician to support unmanned surface vessels and related platforms during overseas deployments. The role includes hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations in forward environments, with 90–120 day overseas cycles and 30 days CONUS between deployments.

Based in part in Baltimore, MD, you will operate in industrial and maritime settings, coordinating with tech teams and customer stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Willingness and ability to deploy overseas for 90–120 days at a time with CONUS breaks

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical systems onboard unmanned vessels and prototype platforms
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to keep platforms mission-ready during overseas deployments
• Assist in diagnosing issues and implementing corrective actions
• Participate in 90–120 day overseas deployments and 30 days CONUS between deployments
• Work in industrial, maritime, and austere environments including naval facilities and overseas locations
