Job summary

NBCUniversal in the greater Miami area is seeking a Field Operations Technician to manage remote broadcasting across transmission, audio, video, and IT. You will design, procure, and deploy travel-ready broadcast systems worldwide, while maintaining documentation and equipment manifests.

Minimum 5 years of remote broadcast experience is required; bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. This full-time role involves travel and coordinating with technical teams in a fast-paced 24/7

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience setting up remote broadcasts.
Experience with remote broadcast transmission, audio mixers, and cameras.
Knowledge of satellite uplink technology and RF equipment.
Associates degree or equivalent work experience; leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

Manage remote broadcasting disciplines including transmission, audio, video, and IT.
Design and deploy travel-ready broadcast systems worldwide.
Maintain up-to-date paperwork, workflows, and client solutions.
Maintain equipment inventory and deployment manifests.
Keep the department current on broadcast protocols and technologies.
Report to Manager, Field Operations; assist with additional tasks as needed.
