Job summary

Nova invites an Applications Engineer to implement and optimize optical metrology systems for international semiconductor customers from our Rio Rancho, NM site. You will create measurement programs, support system acceptance, and deliver application-focused content with cross-functional teams.

You will train customers on-site and remotely, collaborate with service and systems experts, and stay ahead on semiconductor process trends. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in physics, electrical engineering, materials science or related field.
• Experience in metrology or semiconductor environments a plus.
• 2-3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize optical metrology measurement programs for semiconductor customers.
• Develop applications and solutions and support system acceptance testing.
• Provide customer training and share application-focused content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global customers.
• Travel up to 25% for on-site and international support.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of semiconductor processes and trends.
