Job summary

Nova Measuring Instruments is seeking an Sr. Application Scientist to support growth in the semiconductor optical metrology space.

You will engage with customers to develop high-value, innovative metrology applications, apply statistical techniques to optimize results in high-volume manufacturing environments, and contribute to beta testing and product evaluations. You will collaborate with algorithm, software, and engineering teams, craft detailed test procedures and customer demo reports, and

Qualifications

• Experience with OCD modeling and data analysis; coding in MATLAB or Python preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor metrology and processing fundamentals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customer interaction preferred.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and develop customer solutions highlighting next-generation metrology capabilities.
• Collaborate with algorithm, software, and engineering teams to troubleshoot systems.
• Create supporting documentation, including test procedures, customer demo reports, and marketing materials.
• Deliver exceptional customer support for installation, maintenance, and optimization of Nova products.
• Stay current with industry trends to refine existing solutions.
