Job summary

Nova Measuring Instruments is seeking an Application Engineer to develop high-value optical metrology applications for semiconductor manufacturing. You will engage with customers, apply statistical optimization techniques, and support new product introductions across the region.

Candidates should have experience with XPS/XRF/SIMS and hands-on fab exposure. Domestic travel up to 25% is required. The role is based in Austin, TX with the Global Business Group.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to develop high-value optical metrology applications for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Apply robust statistical techniques to optimize applications for high-volume fab environments.
• Provide region support for new product introduction and evaluation activities (beta, head-to-head).
• Present technical findings clearly to customers and cross-functional teams.
