Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC seeks a Buyer II to source, procure, and expeditie materials for facilities operations at Al Udeid Air Base. You will issue POs, evaluate quotes, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and base rules while maintaining accurate procurement records.

The role requires 3+ years in purchasing, strong vendor management, and ability to work in a deployed environment overseas. Valid US driver’s license and passport preferred; DoD secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in purchasing/procurement, preferably in facilities/ O&M contracts.
• Knowledge of U.S. government procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS).
• Ability to read technical descriptions and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, tools, equipment, and services for facilities upkeep.
• Issue purchase orders per contracts, requisitions, and budgets.
• Evaluate vendor quotes for best value, quality, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with government standards and company policies.
• Coordinate specs and deliveries with maintenance teams.
• Expedite orders to meet timelines and minimize downtime.
• Maintain procurement records and logs; support audits.
• Assist with inventory control and warehouse coordination.
• Depend on base access, import/export, and customs rules for Qatar.
