Caterpillar seeks a Senior Facilities Mechanical Engineer to lead complex capital projects across North America and beyond. Based in Irving, TX, you will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and risks while serving as a technical expert for manufacturing and office facilities.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, real estate, EH&S, and vendors, driving standards, governance, and continuous improvement across a global portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant facilities engineering, construction, or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent facilities capital projects, including investments exceeding $10 million.
• Direct all phases of project delivery from planning to closeout.
• Establish project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and performance expectations.
• Drive outcomes balancing business needs, lifecycle costs, and value.
• Provide engineering guidance for office, warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing facilities.
