Job summary

Carnival Corporation is seeking a high-impact Category Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Food & Beverage to lead sourcing strategies across key global categories and serve as the commercial owner for assigned categories. You will partner with culinary, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to develop data-driven sourcing strategies that support business objectives and guest experience across brands.

This role requires collaboration across shipboard and shoreside operations, strong negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills and data analytics.
• Experience leading cross-functional sourcing programs and strategic category plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term strategic sourcing plans for highly complex categories and projects that create long-term value while meeting brand objectives.
• Apply category management practices to develop and implement integrated sourcing strategies with stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance to forecast impacts and model scenarios for category strategies.
• Lead supplier qualification, segmentation and contract negotiations to deliver value.
