Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Director of External Manufacturing Regulatory Compliance Oversight to provide enterprise-wide leadership, independent compliance perspective, and governance across the Innovative Medicine External Manufacturing network.

The role partners with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Product Development to identify risks early, strengthen decisions, and drive proactive compliance. A high-performing, global team under the IMRC Leadership Team will be developed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, pharmacy, or related field.
• Significant leadership in quality, compliance, or external manufacturing governance.
• Strong ability to translate risk into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee enterprise-wide External Manufacturing compliance oversight.
• Provide independent compliance perspective on partnerships, tech transfers, and product launches.
• Support inspection readiness and remediation governance across the network.
• Drive risk visibility, escalation, and governance with senior leadership.
• Coach and develop Directors and Managers responsible for regional oversight.
