Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, External Manufacturing Regulatory Compliance Oversight to provide independent regulatory oversight across the IM External Manufacturing network. You will partner with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Procurement to identify emerging risks and strengthen compliance performance.

Travel up to 25-40% globally, lead corrective actions, and champion lessons learned to improve inspection readiness and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device GMP experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Quality/Compliance/Regulatory.
• Experience supporting Health Authority inspections and supplier oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent regulatory compliance oversight of external manufacturing partners.
• Identify emerging compliance risks and advise on risk-based remediation.
• Support inspection readiness activities, mock inspections, and responses.
• Lead governance forums and develop standards for compliance oversight.
• Influence cross-functional teams to ensure proactive risk management.
