Mars Snacking is seeking a strategic, creative Manager, External Communications & Content Creation (Finance) in Chicago, IL. Onsite role within the Global Corporate Affairs team, focusing on protecting and enhancing Mars' reputation through compelling content and proactive storytelling.

You will lead content creation across channels, translate complex topics, and partner with senior leaders to align communications with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in communications fields.
• 5-8+ years of external communications experience in a matrixed global organization preferred.
• Experience developing multimedia content for corporate and consumer audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute external communications strategies aligned to Mars Snacking priorities.
• Manage press office processes, inquiries, and after-hours monitoring.
• Create and amplify earned, owned, and shared content across channels.
• Support executive communications and thought leadership initiatives for Mars Snacking leaders.
• Create multimedia content (press releases, articles, social, websites) and translate complex topics into accessible narratives.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with brand priorities.
