Job summary

Mars Incorporated, within Mars Snacking North America, is seeking a Strategic Business Communications Director (Finance) to lead internal communications across 12,000 Associates as Mars undergoes a major integration with Kellanova.

You will drive strategic clarity through compelling content, leverage digital channels, and partner with senior leaders to ensure timely, trusted messaging and engagement. The role offers involvement across newsletters, townhalls, and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, Business or related field; in-house and agency experience a plus
• 10+ years' experience across internal and/or external communications
• Ability to respond quickly and support others in the team
• Approach challenges with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
• Ability to effectively manage and work within ambiguity to prioritise business needs
• Leads project steps within a broader project
• Able to work independently
• Uses data to iterate and improve
• Comfort around higher management

Responsibilities

• Engage Associates regarding regional priorities to boost engagement and performance
• Create polished, professional communications for leadership and general population
• Own and implement a pipeline of communications across channels
• Draft messages and coach leaders for strong delivery at events
• Leverage data to inform strategy and reflect Associates' needs
• Partner with Senior Leaders to support communications and visible leadership
• Collaborate with global colleagues to share best practices
• Coordinate with third parties for high-quality materials
• Manage SharePoint and Teams to centralize materials
• Lead the internal communications function and team deployment
• Develop Associate Ambassadorship for Mars brands and MSNA
