Job summary

Roche Diagnostics seeks a Head of Global External Affairs in Washington, D.C. to lead policy architecture and high-stakes external engagement.

You will report to the Global Head of QR&E and shape Roche Diagnostics' stance across regulatory, healthcare, environmental, trade, and industry domains to drive business priorities. You will steer global teams, partner with regional leaders, cultivate external partnerships, and champion a unified One Roche approach.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of global leadership in External Affairs or Government Relations in IVD/medical devices/pharma.
• Proven track record leading global teams and building policy capabilities.
• Executive presence with experience influencing senior stakeholders and media.

Responsibilities

• Set, govern, and communicate Roche Diagnostics' global policy positions across topics like trade, regulation, healthcare, and environment.
• Lead cross-functional teams and external partnerships to advance Roche Diagnostics' policy priorities.
• Align global policy with regional markets and enable local execution of central directives.
• Represent Roche Diagnostics with external bodies and high-level authorities to shape the policy agenda.
