Job summary

Roche Diagnostics is seeking a visionary Head of Global External Affairs to lead policy architecture, external engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will drive global policy positions, align regional affiliates, and partner with external bodies to advance Roche’s priorities in diagnostics and healthcare innovation.

Qualifications

15+ years of global External Affairs leadership in IVD/medical devices or pharma.
Proven record leading multi-stakeholder policy development and partnerships.
Experience influencing C-level executives and public authorities internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead central policy setting, governance, and measurement for Roche Diagnostics.
Shape regulatory, healthcare, environmental, and trade policy across regions.
Develop unified policy stances with clear internal and external messaging.
Build and manage strategic external affairs partnerships with key organisations.
Translate global policy into regional strategies with strong local execution.
Act as primary spokesperson and negotiator with external authorities.
