Responsibilities

Prepare shipping paperwork for both domestic & export orders.
Prepare and process export documentation, including customs declarations and shipping instructions.
Coordinate with shipping companies and freight forwarders to arrange the transportation of goods.
Ensure compliance with export regulations and laws in various jurisdictions.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Communicate with customs authorities to resolve any clearance issues.
Maintain records of all export transactions and prepare reports as needed.
Prepare items for shipments according to customer specifications and delivery dates.
Pull and stage material according to the bill-of-lading.
Use precision when operating tools such as tape measures and micrometers.
Obtain proof of identity from carriers and appropriate signatures on bill-of-lading.
Drive a forklift through the plant to move material and skids to designated areas.
