Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking a Receiving Clerk for our export and logistics operation. The role focuses on receiving, inspecting, documenting, and processing incoming products and materials, ensuring accurate recording and proper staging for storage or export processing.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, basic data-entry, and collaboration with warehouse, shipping, and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain organized receiving areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, warehouse, shipping, or logistics preferred.
• Experience with purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading preferred.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse and office personnel.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments from vendors, carriers, and suppliers.
• Verify received products against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
• Count and inspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Record received inventory accurately in the warehouse or inventory management system.
• Label, tag, and organize received products for proper identification and tracking.
• Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, purchasing, and export personnel regarding incoming materials.
• Stage received products in designated warehouse or export areas.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and supporting documentation.
• Report damaged, missing, incorrect, or non-conforming products to management.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Communicate with freight carriers and internal departments regarding shipment discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized and safe receiving area.
• Follow procedures for handling products designated for international shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment as required.
• Follow all warehouse, safety, and quality-control procedures.
