Job summary

BDP International, a PSA Group company, is seeking an Export Logistics Coordinator in New York. The role focuses on coordinating export trafficking, data entry, and document distribution for customer shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include processing export documents for customs, scheduling pickups/deliveries, billing, and maintaining accurate records. Prior ocean export and MS Office experience are important, with leadership and teamwork valued.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience handling ocean export functions.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Must work in a fast paced office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• PC literate with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export trafficking functions and document distribution for customer shipments.
• Process documents, ensure compliance with US customs requirements, arrange pickup and delivery, and finalize billing.
• Review daily shipment status reports and report non-conformances.
• Maintain data tables, assist with accounting issues, and handle RFIs/RFQs.
• Prepare export declarations and Bills of Lading for ocean exports.
• Coordinate outbound movement of international freight.
• Establish rates and services with third-party carriers.
