Job summary

BDP International is seeking an Export Coordinator to support ocean and air export shipments. You will log documents, verify compliance with US customs, coordinate cargo pickup and delivery, and finalize billing while maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in export functions and 1–3 years in customer service, with strong communication and detail-oriented skills; a college degree is preferred but not required. Growth opportunities exist within a dynamic logistics team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of ocean or air export experience
• 1–3 years in a customer service environment
• College degree preferred but not required
• Must work in a fast paced office
• Strong communication, detail orientation and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export trafficking functions and data entry for customer export shipments
• Process documents, ensure compliance with US customs, coordinate pickup/delivery and billing
• Provide shipment status reporting and escalate non-conformances
• Maintain data accuracy and respond to inquiries promptly
• Prepare export declarations and Bills of Lading for Ocean Exports
• Coordinate outbound movement of international freight
• Establish rates/services with third party carriers
• Knowledge of Letters of Credit is a plus
