Abbott in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage day-to-day international exporting for the Diagnostics division. You will interact with logistics, distribution, planning and Customs & Trade Compliance to execute outbound shipments.

Responsibilities include preparing export documents, coordinating with freight forwarders, ensuring AES filings and Dangerous Goods paperwork, and maintaining records while supporting continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Hazmat certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Create export documentation per US regulations for ADD shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and prepare booking details.
• Ensure AES filings and Dangerous Goods paperwork are complete.
• Manage international shipment data input and tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on customs compliance.
• Maintain export records and support continuous process improvements.
