Job summary

Orangepeople is seeking an experienced Program Manager to build and continuously improve an export compliance program. You will bring SME level knowledge of encryption regulations and global licensing, and work with engineering teams to shape compliant solutions across borders.

The role emphasizes collaboration, self-direction, and strong program management skills to solve complex problems and deliver effective compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in export compliance in a global corporate environment.
• 5+ years collaborating with engineering teams on export controls.
• 5+ years using SNAP-R for classifications and licensing.
• 3+ years managing an export classification program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct export classification reviews for software, technology, and related intangibles.
• Manage collection of information and preparation of global licenses and declarations, including deemed export licenses.
• Oversee compliance and reporting for US and non-US licenses/authorizations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and perform enterprise risk assessments related to export controls.
• Develop and manage metrics for management reporting on export compliance programs (intangibles focus).
• Execute other projects supporting the global trade compliance program.
